Weather Forecast: Temperatures To Hit Mid Teens This Week

This week's weather forecast is looking relatively good. Temperatures are set to hit the mid-teens, according to Met Eireann.

The forecaster said: "A relatively mild outlook with maxima even reaching the mid-teens in parts later this week.

"Staying rather breezy however and mixed, with some rain, mainly occurring in the west and south, before becoming settled and calmer countrywide this coming weekend."

Monday

Today will be bright and blustery in Dublin with some scattered showers this afternoon/evening. Highs of 10 or 11 degrees. Fresh and gusty winds will ease towards the evening.

Tonight will be dry, calm and clear with some frost and possibly some icy patches. Cold with lows of 0 to 4 degrees.

Tuesday

Frost will clear on Tuesday morning with some early sunshine. There will outbreaks of rain by midday, turning heavy with possible spot flooding.

It will also become breezy with highs of 7 to 9 degrees on Tuesday afternoon. It will become milder after dark.

Mostly cloudy with patches of rain and drizzle.  Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 Celsius. Strong to gale force winds on Atlantic coasts.

Wednesday

Mild, humid and mostly cloudy with scattered rain and drizzle. Becoming drier in the afternoon with some sunny spells. Highs of 10 to 13 degrees.

Very mild on Wednesday night with patches of mist and drizzle turning more persistent in the west and north. Lows of 8 to 10 degrees.

Thursday

Scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle will clear. The afternoon/evening will be mostly dry and rather cloudy with freshening winds. Mild with highs of 11 to 15 degrees. Best values further north.

Friday

Mild and brezzy with some scattered rain. Mainly dry and cloudy with highs of 11 to 15 degrees. Best values further north.

Further Outlook 

Becoming calmer with more sunshine and staying relatively mild.
