Royal Caribbean Want To Pay You To Travel The World

Dream job alert! Royal Caribbean is looking to pay someone to travel the world.

The role is for a Shore Explorer 'Apprentice-Ship' and will see one lucky applicant be chosen to experience some of the most jaw-dropping destinations across the globe.

About The Role

The successful candidate will act as apprentice to Royal Caribbean’s Instagrammer-in-Chief, Russ Francis.

They will need to capture and share their experiences on Instagram, Insta-Stories and IGTV on a daily basis.

They will then have the chance to enjoy a range of ‘bucket list experiences’. These include visiting a glacier in Alaska, exploring Osaka in Japan and white water rafting in the Norwegian Fjords.

Furthermore, the apprentice will also be one of the first to step foot on Royal Caribbean’s new and exclusive private island in the Caribbean. Perfect Day℠ at CocoCay is set to open in May 2019.

How To Apply

Candidates can apply via Instagram. Wannabe globe totters who think they have what it takes will need to share their favourite travel experience in a picture or video on Instagram, Insta-Stories or IGTV tagging #ShoreExplorer and @RoyalCaribbeanUK.

Applicants must be 21 years or over, hold a valid passport and be able to travel for three consecutive weeks from May-August 2019.

Applications close on March 1st.

An independent panel of judges will select the winning applicant. These consist of The Vamps’ James McVey; Ben Bouldin, Managing Director Royal Caribbean International UK & Ireland; Nadia El Ferdaoussi, Travel Writer; and Russ Francis.

*The successful candidate will be paid €2,200 per week for three weeks’ work on their Apprentice-Ship, equivalent to an annual salary of €118,000.

€6,845.08 will be the maximum payment, even if travel stretches to four weeks.
