So you didn't get the Ed Sheeran tickets, you won't get a dinner reservation at this stage and the weekend break in a spa hotel is too expensive... Welcome to 98FM's last minute Valentine's Day gift guide.

You won't find anything ground-breaking here but that's mainly because you left it too late. Ah listen we're only bustin' yer chops. Fear not. These presents should still go down a treat.

First up, you can't go wrong with perfume. Unless you pick a terrible scent, but we won't steer you wrong on that score. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't find Chanel Chance Eau Tendre absolutely irresistible. It's available everywhere from Boots to BTs. Ask for the pink one.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre approx €73 for 50ml

Is it fair to say you can't go wrong with a good, smelly candle? Well most of the 98FM ladies conform to that particular gender stereotype - we love 'em. This Molton Brown candle is divine. It's called Exquisite Vanilla and Violet Flower. That particular combo was invented by a vay famous pastry chef in London. It's the nicest version of vanilla we've ever smelled.

If the lady in your life loves a new handbag, then you're onto a good thing with this Zara mini tote with adjustable straps. It's chic but a bit quirky and just under 30 quid. Boom.

Now to underwear. To be honest, we don't necessarily recommend you buy underwear for your missus. Not only do you run the risk of getting something totally tacky, underwear sizes vary vastly from shop to shop. Even if you know her cup size, there's a high chance the bra you buy won't fit or sit well. But if you're really into the idea of underwear as a gift, we like these sexy but non-cringey options from Penneys.

'Tattoo' bralettes €8 and thongs €4

Last but never least, it's jewellery. Buying jewellery is just a lovely thing to do. This circle pendant is from MoMuse in the Powerscourt Townhouse. It looks so delicate and sits really nicely on the collarbone. We prefer the circle to the more obvious choice of a heart. It's, like, the eternity symbol ya know?

Gold Filled Circle Pendant from MoMuse €65
