Two whole weeks off school, how will you keep the kids entertained?

Now have put together a list of their best family movies for kids to enjoy over the Easter holidays - after you've expended all your energy on Easter Egg Hunts and it inevitably starts raining!

There's a serious selection with enough to keep all ages entertained, so take your pick and put the feet up - you all deserve it!

1. Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie

A family favourite that needs no introduction, there isn’t a parent in the country who’s not familiar with this group of animated search and rescue pups. You won’t need to watch any re-runs this weekend, though, as a new Paw Patrol adventure lands on NOW on Good Friday.

In Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Ryder and the patrol embark on a new challenge which sees a magical meteor crash-land in Adventure City, giving all of the PAW Patrol crew superpowers. With the fate of Adventure City hanging in the balance, everyone’s favourite pups will learn that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference. It won’t just be the kids on the edge of their seats…

2. The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Some animated joy for little ones and a hint of nostalgia for parents who grew up playing the iconic Super Mario Bros games, this one is a treat for everyone.

The family flick serves as an origin story for our favourite pair of plumbers. Based on the original video game franchise, we follow along with Mario and Luigi as they travel to an underground labyrinth to save a captured Princess Peach from Bowser.

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

The ninjitsu-fighting band of brothers, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Mikey are back for a full feature-length adventure packed with everything we love about the original series.

In their latest outing, the turtles are fighting to earn back the love of New Yorkers, whilst trying to take down an army of evil mutants. With John Cena, Jackie Chan and Seth Rogan among the stellar cast of voices featured, it’s guaranteed feelgood viewing this weekend.

  1. The LEGO Movie

Inspired by the building-block toys that are beloved by every generation, this family favourite was LEGO’s first outing on the big screen.

Following an ordinary LEGO construction worker who finds himself responsible for stopping an evil tyrant from destroying the world, it’s packed with absurd and delightful characters that are sure to keep the whole family laughing this weekend.

5. Matilda

An oldie but a goodie, if you haven’t watched Matilda in a few years, this is your sign to.

The adaption of Roald Dahl’s 1988 novel is a classic that still endures today, bringing to life the story of Matilda Wormwood, a gifted girl who uses her newly discovered powers to stand up for herself and others against a tyrannical school principal, the infamous Miss Trunchbull.
