According to Met Eireann, temperatures are set to hit 11 degrees on Wednesday.
The forecaster also says the mild weather could last until the end of the week.
Tonight is expected to be cloudy with some mist and drizzle. It will be mild with lows of 8 degrees in Dublin.
Tomorrow will be dry and windy with some bright spells with highest temperatures 11 degrees in fresh and gusty south to south easterly winds.
Thursday is set to be mainly dry and windy with some sunny spells and temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees. It could hit 10 degrees in Connacht and Munster.
The winds will ease on Friday with scattered outbreaks of rain and temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.
