A group of schoolkids from Dublin have turned Christmas around and surprised their parents with gifts. The pupils from Scoil Mhuire in Lucan were sent on a mission to surprise their parents with the most thoughtful gifts they could think of.

The heart-warming idea was thought of by Aviva Home Insurance, after it ran a survey which found the overall cost of Christmas is a top concern for almost half of people at this time of year.

When it comes to preparing for Christmas, the research - carried out by RED C on behalf of Aviva - found that women generally have more concerns than their men around paying for presents and preparing the food.

Aviva Home Insurance, which is offering 10% extra content cover in December, also reported that women are more likely than men to take care of the Christmas decorating.
