Goods worth €900 which were stolen from a shop in Dublin Airport's Terminal One have been recovered in the UK.

Gardaí were called to the scene yesterday morning, and identified a suspect via CCTV.

The man had departed on a flight to Birmingham, and gardaí alerted the airport police there, who searched the man when he landed, and recovered the stolen items.

Gardaí say the items were put on an Aer Lingus flight to Dublin, and were back in the store by lunchtime.
