Dublin are back in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final for a sixth consecutive year.

Dessie Farrell's side beat Cavan by 15 points in their last four clash at Croke Park on Saturday evening.

The final score was 1-24 to 0-12.

Rob McDaid with the goal for the Boys in Blue in the 65th minute after being set up by Dean Rock.

This game was never in any doubt and although Cavan made a great start the Dubs lead by five points at half-time.

There was no second-half blockbuster performance from Cavan which we've become accustomed to this year.

Dublin simply created more chances and took them as they started to pull away after the break.

They stretched their lead out to 12 points with 15 minutes left in the game before eventually winning by 15.

Eight different Dublin players got themselves on the score sheet with Dean Rock sending six points through the post, four of them from Play.

Brian Fenton and Con O’Callaghan each scored four.

Cavan finished up with 14 men after Thomas Galligan was shown a red card in the 72nd minute.

Dessie Farrell's side will now prepare for the decider in two weeks' time.

They'll face either Mayo or Tipperary in the final as they look to keep their bid for a sixth consecutive All-Ireland on track and the question now inevitably turns to can anyone stop this phenomenal run and beat the Dubs?
