People in Dublin can now check their local air quality using a new website.
dublincityairandnoise.ie provides access to six stations set up by Dublin City Council to monitor local air quality.
A network of eight air quality monitoring stations which are part of the national air quality monitoring network also feed into the statistics.
The site displays the levels of air pollutants, including carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and fine dust particles.
The site also provides access to 13 sound level monitoring stations across the capital.
Dublin City Council said they should give a good indication of ambient sound levels within that general area.
Martin Fitzpatrick from the Air Quality Monitoring and Noise Control Unit described the new website as "an important milestone for Dublin City Council".
The launch of the website comes in the weeks after Dublin became the first Irish city to sign up to the global BreatheLife campaign, a commitment to meet WHO air quality guideline values by 2030.
