Jennifer Lawrence and her boyfriend Cooke Maroney are engaged. Her rep confirmed the news to E!.
Lawrence was rumoured to have accepted the proposal after she was spotted wearing a massive ring on a night out.
It's reported that the pair were introduced by Lawrence's best friend and 2014 Oscars date Laura Simpson and began a relationship in June 2018.
Actress Lawrence and art gallery director Cooke were first spotted together on a casual date in New York last Summer.
In late June the pair were photographed kissing while enjoying dinner at an Italian wine restaurant.
Maroney is an Art director at the Gladstone Gallery in New York.
A wedding date has yet to be confirmed.
Lawrence won an Oscar for best actress in 2012 for starring in the Silver Linings Playbook. She is also one of the world's highest paid actresses.
Lawrence who also starred in the 2018 spy movie Red Sparrow announced shortly after the movie's release that she would be taking a year off acting.
She plans to use the year off to focus on Political activism. She claimed the move was to get younger people politically engaged.
