Watch out Zayn Malik. It looks like Harry Styles is officially going solo!
According to Billboard, the One Direction star has signed a deal with Columbia Records, the label that looks after the band in the US.
Insiders say deal terms are not yet known and there is no timeline for a solo album. Harry's reps haven't commented on the reports.
Last month, Johnny McDaid revealed he's been working with Harry on his solo material. The Snow Patrol guitarist says the pair have been working on an 'informal basis' and that Harry's solo music will 'shock' the world.
Speaking to the Press Association:, McDaid said: "He's really authentic and he has an incredible voice, so we've been writing a lot of songs. We've been writing songs for years together.
"I'm really excited by the way he's sounding at the minute, he's such a talent. I think the world is going to be really shocked at what he comes up with."
Harry is currently filming the Christopher Nolan World War II drama, Dunkirk. Last week it emerged the 1D star is also in line to play Mick Jagger in a new Rolling Stones biopic.
