For the past number of years 98FM's Dara Quilty has been volunteering with the DSPCA.

Over the Christmas holidays, the Big Ride Home presenter gifted the animal welfare organisation with a PA system on behalf of 98FM.

The DSPCA hosts numerous events throughout the year to raise awareness and funds to prevent animal cruelty. We believe the new PA system will really be put to good use.

Check out his prank video below:

About The DSPCA

The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a registered charity to prevent cruelty to animals.

It is also now Ireland’s largest animal welfare organisation.

The DSPCA relies on generous donations from the public to do their work. They are not a government agency and receive only 10% of their annual budget of nearly €3 million in ex-gratia payments from the government.

90% of their funding comes from monthly supporters and donations.

You can donate to The DSPCA here.
