Gardai are making a fresh appeal for information after a man was killed in a road crash at the Red Cow in Dublin over the weekend.

Bunches of flowers have been left outside the Red Cow following the death of this man in his 20s.

He was getting out of a car when he was struck by another one at twenty past midnight on Sunday.

Gardaí now wants to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time.

They particularly would like to speak to anyone who saw a red Volkswagen Golf driving in the area at the time.

They also want to hear from any Taxi Drivers who may have picked up a fare around the Red Cow at that time, and brought them in the direction of Ballyfermot.

A man in his 20s had been arrested by gardai but he has since been released from custody and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda station on 01 666 7600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
