Out of 351 defects in the city's roads, just five were repaired by local authorities in 2014.
An official review of road maintenance has been carried out across the country for the Department of Transport.
Defects include emergency works, repairs to footpaths, issues with signage, drainage and road surface.
The Irish Independent reports that nationwide almost 15-hundred heavily trafficked routes weren't repaired in 2014 even though they needed fixing.
