All of tonight's events have sold out but the celebrations will continue tomorrow between noon and 4pm. The New Years Day festivities are free, family-friendly and don't require tickets or advance booking.

The 3New Year’s Day Concert will feature the Garda Band, the Line Up Choir and Hit Machine Drummers.

Flyboarders will perform stunts along the banks of the Liffey on Custom House Quay.

Festival organisers say people who don't have tickets to tonight's festivities won't be admitted to the event.

Gardai say they'll be helping with ticket checks and directing traffic.

Custom House Quay is closed until 6am on Tuesday while George's Quay will also be closed between Moss Street and Tara Street from 5pm today until 2am on Monday the first.

The Luas is operating its usual Sunday schedule but the night service means trams will run until 3am.

The Nitelink will operate its normal late night weekend service.

DART and commuter trains will also be operating, but they'll finish up at various times with the last service at 2.55am. Best to check Irish Rail's web site for updates!
