Weekend Event Guide: Cliff Diving, Buckfast Brunch & More

It's set to be a very busy weekend in Dublin, with Well Fest, Cliff Diving and many more big events going on.

Red Bull Cliff Diving

The big one is the Redbull Cliff Diving World Series, which is expected to attract a crowd of over 50,000 across the weekend.

For the first time ever, the World Series will take place in Dún Laoghaire Harbour on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May.

The world's elite male and female divers will go head to head on Carlisle Pier in front of thousands of spectators.

Buckfast Bottomless Brunch

If diving from 27 meters isn't your cup of tea, than maybe a glass of Buckfast is more up your alley.

The Bernard Shaw and Eatyard, will pay homage on World Buckfast Day (Yes, it is a real holiday!) to the holy drink itself.

A ticket to this event, gets you: bottomless Buckfast from 11am until 2pm on either May 11th or 12th & pizza from the Big Blue Bus.


Saying no to carbs and alcohol this weekend?

Europe's largest outdoor health and wellness festival returns to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham this Saturday & Sunday.

Learn from the best 150 health and wellness experts, alongside a large selection of classes, workshops and seminars.

Disney On Ice

The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice is back in Dublin all weekend, at the Citywest Hotel.

Join Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on an inspiring walk down memory lane in celebration of magic and family fun.

Plus many more of your Disney favorites will take to the ice this Saturday & Sunday in Dublin.

BYOB Comedy Bus Tour

This is a two birds, one stone type of event. See Dublin in all its glory, while laughing along the way to a comedy set.

Saturday will be a bright and mostly dry day with good sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees.

Sunday and the early days of next week sees mainly dry and sunny weather developing as high pressure settles over Ireland. There'll be high cloud at times making the sun appear hazy. Temperatures will range between 13 or 14 degrees along the east coast.
