Fingal St Patrick's Day Parades: All You Need To Know

Fingal St Patrick's Day Parades

The streets of North Dubllin will come alive this  weekend with the Fingal St Patrick's Day Parades.

As well as the parade, loads of other events are taking place across the county.

Time:

Fingal County Council have organised official parades:

  • Swords - 11AM
  • Balbriggan - 2PM
  • Blanchardstown - 3PM

Other parades have been organised by community groups:

  • Rush - 1PM
  • Lusk - 1:30PM
  • Skerries - 3PM

Route

The Swords parade route will go through Swords Main Street before finishing at Swords Castle.

The Balbriggan parade will begin at Lambeecher, go through the main street and end at St Peter and Paul's Church.

The Blanchardstown parade will commence in the village and make its way to the Blanchardstown Centre.

Road Closures

Swords

  • Dublin Road & North Street: 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • Main Street: 6:00am - 4:00pm

Balbriggan

Restricted access to:

  • Dublin St
  • ST. Georges Square
  • Drogehda ST
  • Bridge ST

Blanchardstown

Road closures and diversions will be in place from 11.00am on St. Patricks Day:

  • Castleknock Road
  • Main Street
  • Snugborough Road
  • Westend
  • Blanchardstown Town Centre

Parking

NO PARKING ON PARADE ROUTE, CARS WILL BE REMOVED
