So Longitude is done and dusted for another year. Monday is here and reality has struck hard. At least the sun is still shining.
After three days of music and sunshine, here's what we learned at this year's Festival:
1: You're feeling old now, aren't you!
It probably is that you are infact getting older, but the festival goers just seem to keep getting younger and younger. Sure they only have to be born in 1994 to be allowed in these days. WHY DO THEY LOOK SO YOUNG!
2: There's an unwritten dress code for festival goers.
Denim shorts. Belly Tops. Black Chokers. Topped off with some facepaint or glitter strategically placed around one eye.
Groups of young wans especially like to dress the same as each other. So you might mistake them for a girl band just hanging around before their set!
3: There were queues. And more queues.
But sure you knew that would happen.
4: It’s not a festival, unless you get the obligatory picture with the Gards.
They're always up for an aul Garda selfie
5: There were lots of Pokemon to catch.
If you had a bit of downtime between bands you wanted to catch, you might aswell catch Pokémon instead.
6: The weather on Sunday was epic.
Sure, we thought we were in Spain with all that sunshine.
7: Everyone was jealous of this guy's T-Shirt
Nicholas Cage.. what a legend.
8: There was also some creative work put into Festival signs..
Good work people!
9: The celebs looked immaculate
HOW! Why aren't they sweaty messes with matted hair like the rest of us?
10: Before Longitude, you knew a handful of acts on the line up, now you're a total muso
Perfume Genius, Christine and the Queens, Handsome Paddy, Lucius - you love them all now.
