Dundalk right-back Sean Gannon joined Jamie Moore on 98FM’s Now That’s What I Call Sport ahead of the Lilywhites 2nd leg Champions League League 3rd round qualifier in Tallaght Stadium this Tuesday.

Bate Borisov won the first leg 1-0, an error from Gannon allowed former Arsenal man Alexander Hleb to pass through to Mikhail Gordeychuk, who slotted home.

Tuesday’s game takes place on the grass of Tallaght Stadium rather than Dundalk’s home ground of Oriel Park, which does not meet the UEFA criteria for hosting a game at this stage of qualifying.

The 25 year old is not phased by playing their home leg in unfamiliar surroundings.

“It’s the same for both teams, Tallaght is a nice stadium and a good pitch it won’t be a hindrance to go there.”

Gannon believes Tuesday's tie is a massive opportunity to turn things around.

“We have faith in our ability, we have confidence in ourselves, and we know we can play better. That’s the beauty of a second leg; we have a chance to put it right.”

Should the Louth side fail to progress, they will enter the playoff round of the Europa League. However, they are fully concentrated on advancing to the Champions League, and not taking the consolation prize.

“The Europa League is not even being talked about at the moment, we’ve got another Champions League tie to play...it’s not impossible.”

We'll have live updates from Tallaght Stadium from 7pm.
