There was plenty of GAA action around the country on Sunday as the Allianz National Football and Hurling Leagues continued.

All-Ireland Champions Limerick are still without a win, three rounds into the Allianz National Hurling League.

They were beaten by Waterford on a scoreline of 1-22 to 0-21 points at Walsh Park in Division One A on Sunday afternoon.

Jack Fagan scored the goal for the Déise in what was a repeat of last season's All-Ireland final which John Kiely's side won by 11 points.

Limerick finished with 13 men with Seamus Flanagan and Kyle Hayes both sent off.

Elsewhere in that group, Cork made light work of Westmeath - beating them 7-27 to 0-15 at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

And then in Division One B, Clare got their first win of the season.

Goals from Mark Rodgers and Shane O’Donnell saw the Banner beat Laois 2-27 to 1-17 at MW Hire O'Moore Park.

Con O'Callaghan and Cormac Costello scored two goals each for the All-Ireland champions while David Clifford found the back of the net from the penalty spot deep into injury for the Kingdom.

The Dubs led by six points at half-time before a particularly impressive third-quarter performance from Peter Keane's side.
