Portugal's visit to the Aviva Stadium next month will take place in front of a full house.

Tickets for the World Cup qualifier - which takes place on November 11th - sold out in two hours this morning.

It means there will be a full capacity crowd, as Covid-19 restrictions have been eased.

Earlier this month, the friendly against Qatar was also sold out but the ground was only at half capacity.

Stephen Kenny's side cannot qualify for the World Cup, but will be hopeful of continuing the encouraging form shown in the last international window.

They beat Azerbaijan 3-nil, before an impressive 4-nil defeat of Qatar at Lansdowne Road.

There is also the added intrigue of Cristiano Ronaldo coming to Dublin next month.

He scored twice late on when the sides met in Faro earlier in the group stage to snatch a 2-1 win.
