The Taoiseach has said he would have no issue with an Orange march to mark July 12th in Dublin city.
Leo Varadkar made the comments in a recent interview in the Belfast Telegraph.
The last time there was a unionist parade in Dublin in 2006, a riot broke out.
It resulted in violence and damage to property.
Escalation Of Tension
It is a common occurrence for the tri-colour to be burned at the top of a bonfire when these Orange parades are taking place.
Anti-Catholic and sectarian songs are regularly played during these marches.
A member a of the Dublin Orange Lodge, Chris Thackaberry, has said that the same could be said about the songs football fans sing at matches.
He also condemned the burning of any national flags, describing it as a hate crime.
The Conservative Unionist Organisation says it has no plans for a parade in the city in the near future.
