Devin Toner has put pen to paper on a new deal with the IRFU.

The two-year contract extension will see him stay at Leinster until at least June 2017.

The Irish second row has been with The Blues since 2006 and he’s won 20 caps for his country since his international debut in 2010.

He has won three Heineken Cups, an Amlin Challenge Cup and three PRO12 titles with Leinster.

And he was part of the squad that won the RBS 6 Nations Championship in 2014.

Toner is pleased with the new deal, saying "It is great to have signed on for another two years with Leinster.”

“I have been with the province for almost a decade and during that time they have invested a lot in my development and have given me the platform to reach my potential and achieve success at both provincial and national level."
