Day 10 of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games was a mix of massive disappointment and some joy as Katie Taylor crashed out of the Women's Lightweight event while Thomas Barr qualified for the Men's 400m Hurdle semi-finals. Here's what we have to look forward to on Day 11 today...
BOXING
Team Ireland's only hope of a medal in the Rio 2016 boxing event, Michael Conlan, faces Vladimir Nikitin of Russia in the quarter-finals at 15:30.
DIVING
After 68 years without an athlete taking part in an Olympic diving event Oliver Dingley is now in the Men's 3m Springboard semi-final which starts at 14:00.
ATHLETICS
Tori Pena goes for Ireland in Group B of the Women's Pole Vault which gets underway at 13:45. Then in the early hours of Wednesday morning (01:49 Irish time) Thomas Barr runs in the Men's 400m Hurdle semi-finals.
SAILING
Annalise Murphy was set to sail in the Women's Laser Radial medal race but conditions forced a postponement so it is expected to start at 17:05 today. Ryan Seaton and Matt McGovern sail in races 10 (17:05), 11 (18:05) & 12 (19:05) of the Men's 49er while Saskia Tidey go out in races 10 (17:05), 11 (18:05) & 12 (19:05) of the Women's 49er FX.
EQUESTRIAN
Greg Broderick is involved in the Indivdual Jumping Qualification 2 event which gets underway at 14:00.
