The Extra.ie FAI Cup quarter-final between Sligo Rovers and Derry City has been postponed for a second time due to another outbreak of COVID-19 in the Derry squad.

The game, which was set to take place at the Showgrounds this Friday, will now take place next Wednesday, November 25th at 7.30pm.

The last eight tie was originally meant to be played on November 1st  but was postponed following a number of coronavirus cases in the Derry City squad.

Athlone Town are already in the semi-finals thanks to a 4-1 win over Shelbourne last month, while the other two quarter-finals take place on Friday.

Finn Harps and Shamrock Rovers meet in Ballybofey at 5.45pm and the game between Bohemians and Dundalk gets underway at Dalymount Park from 7.45pm.
