Defending champions Saracens come to Dublin this weekend for their European Champions Cup quarter-final clash with Leinster but they could be without three key England internationals.

Number 8 Billy Vunipola is unlikely to play due to an arm injury while outhalf Owen Farrell (quad) and lock George Kruis (back) are touch and go according to Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall.

"We hope he will be [fit] but there’s no guarantee," said McCall of Farrell. "He’s got a quad injury, it’s a muscle injury and you never really know with these things."

Sarries come into the game off the back of a 24-11 win against fourth from bottom Harlequins in the English Premiership while they blew hot and cold in Europe.

“I don’t think it was a great match but I thought we were pretty good in the first half," McCall said after the Quins game. "The second was just stop-start with a lot of penalties for decisions no one could understand so that was frustrating but for us it was no biggie.

"There’s enough to hang our hats on with the performance. There was enough in our attack early doors, there was enough in our defence at times but it’s obvious we need to raise our game in those areas.

"I don’t want to be too downbeat though as I’m really pleased to finish the game unscathed and get some confidence and rhythm into some players. We need to play much, much better next weekend, I know we can and I know we will."
