Yaya Touré has no chance of playing for Manchester City again unless manager Pep Guardiola gets an apology for comments made by the player's agent.
Barcelona-based Dimitri Seluk blasted the City boss after he took the decision to omit the midfielder from his Champions League squad.
It was reported that Touré was not informed of the decision to leave him out before the squad was made public and Seluk was not happy.
“If he wins the Champions League for City this season then I will travel to England and I will say on television that Pep Guardiola is the best manager in the world.
“But if City don’t win the Champions League then I hope that Pep has got the balls to say that he was wrong to humiliate a great player like Yaya."
Guardiola hit back at today's press conference for the EFL Cup match at Swansea tomorrow night, accusing the player of lacking courageThe Spaniard also called for an apology from the agent before Touré has any chance of playing for him at the club again.
The former Barcelona player has made just one appearance for Guardiola at City - the 1-0 home win against Steau Bucharest in the Champions League qualifiers.
