"Stay at home", is the message from Nigel Pearson to any Leicester City supporters unable to appreciate the efforts of his players.
The Foxes manager turned the air blue responding to one fan who shouted at him, “it’s our club not yours”, during last night's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Pearson sits high up in the stands at the King Power Stadium where the angry punter followed his first line with, “you’re all out of a job and you know it.”
The fan was then allegedly hit with a string of four-letter words and a suggestion from Pearson that they go home.
City were promoted as the top side in the English Championship last season but now lie at the bottom of the Premier League.
Pearson has managed just two top flight wins and four draws with his team but feels criticism of his players is uncalled for.
"If they cannot see the players are having a proper go maybe they need to stay at home."
Pearson insists he won't let any personal criticism become a distraction
