The Ireland Women’s team have suffered a late withdrawal, ahead of their Six Nations clash with France in Ashbourne this evening.

Leinster’s Hannah Tyrrell has been forced to pull out.

The winger, who made her Irish debut against Italy last weekend, has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to a concussion injury she picked up in training.

She is undergoing the return to play protocols.

Aoife Doyle takes her place in the team instead.

Tyrrell is a former Dublin footballer.

The game takes place this evening in Ashbourne, with kick off at 7.30pm.
