Offaly Camogie have confirmed a member of their senior management team has tested positive for COVID-19.

As had been mooted on Wednesday, they've forfeited their All Ireland Championship Group 1 fixture with Cork.

The game had been set to be played on Saturday afternoon, but Cork will receive a walkover instead.

Offaly say a number of their players are isolating due to unrelated cases to that of the management.

Offaly Camogie statement:

Further to the news that broke yesterday evening it is with regret that we can confirm that the Offaly Senior team are withdrawing from the first round fixture in this year's championship due a member of our Senior Management Team being diagnosed with Covid-19.

In addition a number of our players are self isolating due to unrelated cases.
