Paul McGinley has been chosen to lead the Irish golf team at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The European Ryder Cup captain is one of 17 Team Ireland leaders for the Games.
He will join up again with Rory McIlroy in the Ireland team.
McGinley says the world number one is very excited:

Meanwhile, Sonia O'Sullivan will work in an advisory capacity with the Olympic Council of Ireland for Rio.
