Manchester United drew one all with Stoke City in this Premier League tie at the Britannia Stadium.

Both sides remain unbeaten through the festive period with Utd winning once and drawing twice and Stoke with two wins and a draw.

The home side got off to the perfect start as they grabbed the lead inside two minutes.

Peter Crouch nodded down a corner and there was Ryan Shawcross to swivel and direct home with his right foot to score against his former club.

United equalised in the 26th minute with a sniper's effort from master sharpshooter Radamel Falcao after Michael Carrick had flicked on from another setpiece.

Stoke had a chance to clinch the points in the 69th minute but Crouch nodded against the post.

It would appear the injury problems will continue for Man U with right wing back Ashley Young pulling up and forced off with hamstring trouble.

United stay in third while Stoke move up one place to tenth.
