Louis van Gaal received a lukewarm cheer from the home fans at Old Trafford last night, as he delivered his end of season speech.
The Red Devils ended their disappointing season with a 3-1 win over Bournemouth, in their rearranged fixture.
It saw them end the campaign in fifth place, securing their spot in the Europa League group stages.
However, they miss out on Champions League football for next season.
Van Gaal gave his end-of-season speech to the crowd afterwards, thanking them for their “unconditional support”.
And while there were some boos at the start of his speech, he received some applause at the end, when he promised fans an FA Cup win this Saturday:
Van Gaal was also insistent that he would be staying on next season, speaking to Sky Sports after the match.
But he admitted it was a blow to lose out on Champions League football for next season:
