Leinster will decide today whether or not to appeal Jack McGrath’s three-week ban for stamping.

The prop was suspended yesterday, after his stamp on Ulster’s Rory Best last weekend.

That will see him miss Leinster’s Champions Cup ties against Castres and Wasps this month.

But Matt O’Connor’s men are strongly considering an appeal, considering they’re already without Cian Healy in that position.

Meanwhile, Dominic Ryan looks set to extend his contract with Leinster.

There had been speculation he could form part of a deal to bring Robbie Henshaw to Leinster from Connacht.

But, according to the Herald, those reports are wide of the mark, with contract extension talks well underway.

And Leinster could be about to sign a new second row,

The Irish Independent says Leinster are set to sign Mick Kearney from Connacht for next season.
