The FAI say that the remaining fixtures for the 2020 SSE Airtricity League season will be revealed next week.

A truncated season is due to resume on July 31.

There will be two rounds of fixtures in total, including those that were played prior to the league's forced hibernation in March.

Four of the ten Premier Division sides already have five games under their belt, while the remainder have played four of what will be a total of 18.

Promotion and relegation will remain in place as arranged prior to the start of the season.

Before the release of those remaining fixtures, the draw will be made for the first round of this season's FAI Cup.

Unlike other seasons there will be no involvement from n0n-league clubs, with the competition confined to the 19 league clubs.

As stipulated before the season, Shamrock Rovers II will not be involved.

Three first round fixtures will be drawn on Monday, with 13 clubs receiving byes.

The draw will be live-streamed on the FAI's Facebook page.

Preparations for the resumption of the season began on Friday evening at Oriel Park.

Champions Dundalk played out a 1-1 draw with Derry City behind closed doors.

Walter Figueira gave the visitors the lead on 9-minutes, only to be cancelled out by a stunning long-range effort from Jordan Flores.
