Jurgen Klopp Not Relishing Dortmund Reunion

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he was hoping to avoid a reunion with his old club Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League quarter-final.

The German side swept Tottenham Hotspur aside in their last 16 clash. A 2-1 win at White Hart Lane on Thursday capped off a 5-1 aggregate win.

The Reds arrive in the last eight after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United, they did the damage with a 2-1 win in the first leg and progress 3-1 on aggregate.

Speaking after the game Klopp admitted that he was eager to avoid a return to his former club, but has faith would have it the sides were paired when the balls came out of the bowls:

The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals was made on Friday. Manchester City are the only English club left in the competition.

The Sky Blues will play Paris Saint Germain. Holders Barcelona will play Atletico Madrid.

First-time quarter-finalists Wolfsburg will play Real Madrid, Bayern Munich face a tie against Benfica.
