There's no masking the fact that the Dublin footballers are in a relegation battle in Division One of the Allianz League.

The Boys in Blue snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat last Saturday thanks to Dean Rock's 69th minute goal against Tyrone.

It was just Dublin's third league point from a possible eight after defeats in Munster against Cork and Kerry and a sole win at home to Donegal.

Defeat to Mayo this Saturday would leave Jim Gavin's men in a very precarious position with just two matches left to play - against Derry (home) and Monaghan (away).

Gavin feels if Dublin concentrate on getting the performance right, they can get what they need in Castlebar

Today, Dublin GAA announed a new and ground breaking partnership with Bavaria 0.0% non-alcoholic beer.

The three year sponsorship deal which came into place on March 1st, 2015 and runs through to February 2018 is the first and largest non-alcoholic sponsorship agreement ever to be concluded in Ireland.

The deal was negotiated by the Rye River Brewing Company, distributor for Bavaria, Hollands Premium Beer and Non-Alcoholic Beverages.

Dublin GAA feels the partnership has the ability to make huge waves in the responsible consumption of alcohol, taking the conversation away from minimum pricing and ‘alcohol sponsorship’ which could have a significant impact on how the drinks industry is viewed!
