English Championship club Jersey Reds have announced the signings of Sean O’Connor and Ciaran Parker from Munster.

Munster confirmed last month that O'Connor and Parker would both be leaving the Province this summer along with Darren O'Shea.

Jersey announced on Wednesday that Parker was joining and the Championship club confirmed on Thursday that O'Connor was also making the move.

23-year-old O’Connor, who can play in the second row and back row, made nine Munster appearances since earning his debut against the Maori All Blacks in 2016.

A product of Cashel RFC and Rockwell College, the Tipperary man was part of the Ireland U20s squad that finished runners up at the 2016 Junior World Championship and he has also featured for Garryowen in the AIL this season.

Tighthead prop Parker made 13 appearances for Munster after joining from Sale Sharks in 2017.

A former England U20 international, Parker was handed his Munster debut against Benetton Treviso in September 2017.

The 24-year-old made his Champions Cup debut against Castres in December 2018 and appeared in the 2017/18 Guinness PRO14 knockout clashes against Edinburgh and Leinster.

Jersey were seventh in the Championship table when the season was postponed in mid-March and it has since been cancelled due to coronavirus.
