Cian Healy is in big danger of missing out on the Rugby World Cup.
The Leinster prop has emerged as a serious doubt for the tournament, which kicks off in September.
He had surgery to repair a disc in his neck in May.
The 27-year-old was expected to recover in time for the start of Ireland’s tournament against Canada on September 19th.
But widespread reports this morning say his recovery from that surgery is taking longer than expected.
It’s thought that he has suffered nerve damage, which is causing the player movement issues with his fingers, with some reports suggesting he only has a “10 per cent” chance of being fit.
