Dublin eyes will be smiling ahead of the All-Ireland senior football championship semi-final with Mayo this evening.
Diarmuid Connolly has been cleared to play in the all important replay.
News of the shock decision emerged in the early hours of this morning after a hearing before the Disputes Resolution Authority, the GAA’s independent arbitration tribunal.
Connolly was due to serve a one-match suspension as a result of the red card shown to him in last weekend’s game which ended in a draw- but that ruling has now been overturned.
No further details are yet known but the news was confirmed by Dublin GAA this morning.
