Dundalk will begin the defense of their SSE Airtricity League title against newly promoted Longford Town. The fixtures for the 2015 season have been released today, the standout tie is a Dublin derby.
Shamrock Rovers take on St Pats at the Tallaght Stadium, but Keith Fahey wont have the chance to face his old club on the opening night. The former Saints midfielder misses out through sespension.
The other game on the opening night of March 6th sees Galway play host to Derry. The Saturday games see Bray take on Drogheda United at the Carlisle Grounds and Sligo face 2014 runners up Cork City at the Showgrounds.
Limerick will make their long awaited return to the Markets Field when they play Bohemians on Saturday March 7th.
