British heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte spoke exclusively to OTB AM about Tyson Fury and how it is too soon for the ‘Gypsy King’ to take on Wilder.

“I've got a lot of respect for him and what he does but I just think Tyson Fury's a little deluded because I think Wilder will kill Tyson Fury right now.”

“You know what it's like when you've been out the ring for that long and with all the problems he's had, you can't come into those big fights straight away from two fights back. No chance.”

“Tyson Fury likes a challenge but he's not realistic fighting Deontay Wilder unless he's thinking, I'm gonna make 10 million quid and gamble my career. That's the only reason I can see realistically because Deontay Wilder's too sharp for him right now.”

“I'm not saying he couldn't beat him but Tyson Fury needs to get his rhythm, his mind set and his fitness back.”

Whyte also looked positive to moving forward  and to what opportunities could come in the future for him when asked. "What's next for Dillian Whyte, where do you see yourself in 12 months?"

His response: “To be world champion. We’ll just have to put the wheels in motion and hopefully get the chance to bring a world title home.”

Whyte, who currently holds a record of 24-1, put himself firmly in the world title picture after a points victory over former world champion Joseph Parker last Saturday.

People are looking for Whyte's next fight or one of his fights to come to be against Anthony Joshua. AJ is the only loss Whyte ever took as a professional boxer early on in his career in 2015 and may want to get revenge on the world champion.
