Gordon D’Arcy has been dropped from the Ireland squad for the last two Six Nations games.

The Leinster veteran has failed to make Joe Schmidt’s 36 man squad for the games away to Wales this Saturday and away to Scotland the week after.

D’Arcy has missed out on all three matchday squads to date- for the wins over Italy, France and England.

He last played for Ireland in the November international win over Australia.

Roger Wilson and Billy Holland also drop out from the extended squad.

Meanwhile, Leinster’s Tadhg Furlong and Michael Bent, as well as Ulster’s Dan Tuohy have been added to the squad.

Tuohy is available again, after a thumb injury kept him out of the opening games.

Furlong and Bent get a place in the squad after impressing recently for Leinster.

But Rhys Ruddock and Fergus McFadden miss out again.
