It looks like Conor McGregor’s not giving up his featherweight belt without a fight!
The Notorious became the first UFC fighter to hold two belts at the same time, when he won the lightweight title at UFC 205.
However, he was stripped of his featherweight belt by the UFC last month, a decision which UFC President Dana White insisted was McGregor’s own choice.
But McGregor still has both belts.
And, it doesn’t look like he’ll be giving them up easily.
Earlier this week, he posted this video on Instagram of him boarding a plane with the belts over his shoulders.
Ahead of UFC 205, with the UFC making it clear McGregor would need to forego one of his belts, the Notorious made it clear that they wouldn’t find it easy:
“I’m gonna wrap one on one shoulder and I’m gonna wrap the other one on the other shoulder, and they’re gonna need a f***king army to come take them belts off me.”
And he’s posted again on Instagram overnight, in reference to that, as he taunted the UFC:
McGregor's sending the UFC a clear message anyway!
