While Michaela Walsh (pictured above) defeated Ukranian bantamweight Ivanna Krupenia on a split decision.
Sadly Ceire Smith was beaten in her last 16 fight.
Olympic champ Taylor, Walsh and Lambe will be in quarter-final action between 1:15pm and 2:30pm (Irish time) in Bucharest tomorrow.
The Irish trio will be looking to join Clare Grace in the semi-finals on Friday and guarantee themselves at least bronze.
