Dublin LGFA’s search for a new manager is at an end. Mick Bohan is set to return to the role.
He was at the helm when they contested the 2013 All-Ireland final.
Bohan was most recently involved with the Clare footballers. He succeeded Ephie Fitzgerald at the end of 2015.
Before stepping down from the post in October he helped guide Clare to a division 3 Allianz National Football League title.
His ratification is a formality and will come at the next available County Committee meeting.
He’s no stranger to Dublin GAA having been part of Jim Gavin’s management team that won All-Irelands at under 21 level in 2010 and 2012 along with senior success in 2013.
His backroom team has not been filled yet, but Ken Robinson is lined up for the role of strength and conditioning coach.
Dublin’s first competitive game will take place after Christmas as they open their LIDL NFL league against Monaghan on January 29th in Parnell Park.
