Arsenal are just two points off the top four in the Premier League this evening.
They thrashed Newcastle 4-1 at the Emirates in the late Premier League game of the day.
Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla scored a brace each for the Gunners, while Ayoze Perez netted for The Magpies.
Frenchman Giroud says they wanted to put in a good performance after their loss to Stoke last week:
Earlier, Chelsea got back to winning ways after their loss to Newcastle last week.
They beat Hull 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, thanks to goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.
Tom Huddlestone was sent off for Hull in the game, too.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says it’s been a good week:
Manchester City stay just 3 points behind Chelsea, after edging past bottom side Leicester 1-nil.
Frank Lampard scored the winner.
The goal saw Lampard become the joint fourth top scorer in Premier League history.
He now has 175 goals - the same as Thierry Henry.
City manager Manuel Pellegrini was delighted to claim the win after a tough week:
Elsewhere, West Ham are fourth after a 1-all draw away to Sunderland.
It also ended 1-all between Crystal Palace and Stoke.
Burnley are out of the relegation zone, after a 1-nil win at home to Southampton today.
That's the Saints' fourth defeat in a row.
And West Brom beat Aston Villa by a goal to nil.
Villa played most of that game with just 10 men, after Kieran Richardson was red carded.
