Aiden McGeady has been stripped of his Number 7 jersey at Everton for the upcoming Premier League season, as his Toffees career looks to be coming to a close.
He hasn’t been given any jersey number for the season ahead, as it looks like new manager Ronald Koeman wants to get rid of the Republic of Ireland winger.
His Number 7 jersey has been taken by Spanish star Gerard Deulofeu instead.
McGeady moved to Goodison Park in January 2014, but has failed to impress at the Premier League club and was sent out on loan to Sheffield Wednesday last January for the rest of the 2015/16 season.
Despite his lack of game time, the 30-year-old did make Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland squad for Euro 2016, where he played in three games against Sweden, Belgium and Italy.
Oumar Niasse- Everton's third biggest signing when he arrived last January, has also been left out of the squad list for the coming season, as has Conor McAleny, Leandro Rodriguez and Luke Garbutt.
