  • St. Patick's Athletic took the spoils in the 'Luas Derby' last night, beating Shamrock Rovers 2-0.
  • Cork beat Dundalk and there were goals at Dalymount.
  • Ireland are getting ready to play their final 6 Nations game later. Joe Schmidt's team play Scotland at The Aviva at 5pm, looking for a win to secure a mid-table finish. Captain Rory Best and the players led the captains run at the stadium yesterday with no coaches involved.

  • The Ireland U20s finished in 3rd place in the 6 nations. They beat Scotland 26-18 at Donnybrook last night.

  • Things didn't go so well for Leinster or Munster in the Pro 12. Leinster missed the chance to go to the top of the table after a 12-6 loss at defending champions Glasgow Warriors. Munster lost 34-28 in Cardiff.

  • There was Irish joy on the final day at Cheltenham
