Protesters are marching to the Dáil this evening over proposals to demolish a Dublin City Centre housing complex and leisure centre to make way for MetroLink.
People living in the College Gate complex on Townsend Street are angry the 70 apartments could be knocked down for the new rail line linking Dublin Airport to the city.
A pool and gym in the same building is also set to be demolished.
The Markievicz Leisure Centre was refurbished at a cost of €1 million in 2016.

The National Transport Authority says it is considering issues raised along the route and will publish revised proposals shortly.
"Surely there must be another way"
Over 1,500 people have signed a petition calling for a halt to the demolition proposals.
This evening, protesters said they want officials to reconsider the current MetroLink plans.
One explained: "We haven't heard any type of assurance about what's going - we want to hear assurances they're not going to destroy the leisure centre and apartments above it."
Another added: "Surely there must be another way or another route, rather than demolishing a building that's only been refurbished within the last two years."
